Sorry this is brief—due to “technological issues” it’s a miracle this is even getting posted. I think some calm knitting is in order
!
On the needles: It’s starting to look like a sweater, no? Now that I’m feeling better, my knitting time will take a dive!
Off the bookshelf: Two favorites that I’m re-reading for the second time. Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver is for a class I’m taking—I love it when I actually want to read the required reading! And The Well-Adjusted Child: The Social Benefits of Homeschooling by Rachel Gathercole, is engaging and enlightening—it’s a comforting read as we wrestle with decisions for next school year.
Thanks to Ginny for hosting another Yarn Along!
I just posted about Animal, Vegetable, Miracle too. It's one of my very favorite books.
ReplyDeleteYour sweater looks so perfect! I just love stripes.
The sweater looks awesome. And good reads, too! What are you figuring out about school?
